What does Smart Money show?

Where Indian mutual funds and ETFs are collectively invested — the most widely-held stocks, the largest positions by value, the biggest single-fund bets, and each month the stocks funds bought and sold most. It's aggregated from the same reverse-holdings data that powers the rest of WhoHolds.

How are 'bought' and 'sold' worked out?

We compare the latest monthly portfolio disclosures with the previous month's and count the net change in how many funds hold each stock (and the value). These month-over-month moves appear once we have two monthly snapshots of the same funds.

Where does the data come from?

Each fund's public monthly portfolio disclosure (SEBI-mandated, via AMFI/AMC), ISIN-verified. Free and no login. Information only, not investment advice.
